With the help of our generous donors, 2019 was an outstanding year for MBSPF construction projects in rural Myanmar villages: seven new schools, two teachers’ cottages and our third rural medical clinic. It is such a great joy to offer the children and villagers these beautiful buildings that support their education and well-being.
Taung Poe HIa
Taung Poe Hla is about 5 miles from Inle Lake in the Kalaw region and has 220 households. The villagers are Towno tribal members and farm turmeric, potatoes and rice. The 182 students were being taught in old bamboo structures and an old cement building. We replaced the roof in the cement building and built a new 80’ x 30’ school.
