Myin Ma Ti had 4 existing school buildings but these were not enough. Students within a 14 mile radius come from other villages for the middle and high school grades. Both the villagers and the Myanmar Education Department requested a new 90′ x 30′ school that we were very pleased to provide this year.

Myin Ma Ti is a Danu tribe village located about 12 miles from Kalaw with a population of 1,300. The villagers farm rice for their own use and also grow ginger, wheat, rape seed, and vegetables. There are 450 students from K-12.
