Wah Bo Yee

The drive to Wah Bo Yee village is up a winding mountain road lined by huge eucalyptus trees. The village is nestled in a small fertile valley where they grow tea and oranges and have a spectacular view. The population is about 450. The existing school and teacher housing was in rough shape. The villagers donated land for a new school on a rise of land that was flat and large enough for a new school building. We built a new 30′ x 80′ primary school for 92 students and a teachers’ cottage here.

MBSPF constructed seven new schools and four teachers’ cottages in 2017 in the villages of They Phyu Chaung, Ph Pha, Ye Twin Kaung, Mye Net, Patama Ywa, Wah Bo Yee, and U Min. We also built a rural medical clinic in the village of Myin Htaik.
