This village has been on our radar for three years. Now there is an expanding student body and the need for a new building has grown. There are 128 students in K-9 of which 74 are girls and 54 are boys. Grades 2, 4, and 5 are taught in a steel structure that the government built in 2016. Grades 6-9 are being taught in a bamboo wall structure that was formerly used for teacher housing. Kindergarten, plus grades 1 and 3 are taught in a hall in the monastery. We are planning to provide a new 60′ x 30′ building.
