With the help of our generous donors, 2019 was an outstanding year for MBSPF construction projects in rural Myanmar villages: seven new schools, two teachers’ cottages and our third rural medical clinic. It is such a great joy to offer the children and villagers these beautiful buildings that support their education and well-being.
Myin Twin
Myin Twin is about a one-hour drive from Kalaw in the Shan State of central Myanmar. Myin Twin has about 300 villagers who make a living farming ginger and rice. The 79 students were being taught in several rough bamboo buildings and a small, old 20’ x 30’ UNESCO-constructed building. We built a new 60’ x 30’ school building and installed a new ceiling in the existing UNESCO building.
