During 2020, MBSPF built six new schools in the villages of Kyawe Kan, Pyawetaung, Gwe Tauk Pin, Da Naung Pin, Baw Nin Ywar Thit and Inn Mie. We also built our fourth new rural medical clinic in Kyaut Sint village.
Gwe Tauk Pin “Fareid School”
Gwe Tauk Pin village is located about 3 miles east of Kayak Pa Daung in the Bagan area. The villagers farm rice, peanuts, corn, sesame and beans. There are 162 households with a population of 778. There are 115 primary school students being taught in dilapidated buildings. We built a new 5 classroom school named “Fareid School” for kindergarten to grade 4.
