MBSPF constructed eight new schools in 2016 in the villages of Setoe, Sekalay, Nwar Chan Gyi Kone, Nwar Shar Yoe, Pwe Hla Shwe Gone, Kon Hla, Nyaung Gyo and Myay Char. We also built a new teachers’ cottage in Nwar Shar Yoe.
Nwar Chan Gyi Kone
Last year, in 2015, we built a new 30′ x 80′ school for grades 4, 5 & 6. While very grateful for this new school, the villagers asked if we would construct another new 30’ by 80’ school building for 77 students in grades 7, 8 & 9 and they would rebuild the kindergarten for 55 students. We agreed and the villagers are very happy with the results.
