There are currently anywhere from 195-250 students in K-8. Grades 7-8 are using a palm hut and grade 9 will be added next year. Students from 4 other villages attend school in Khin Thar. Given the need, we built them a new 60′ x 30′ school building this year.

We know Khin Thar village well as we built a new 80′ x 30′ primary/middle school plus a separate kindergarten there in 2022. The villagers are very grateful and maintain the buildings well. The population of 950 farms sesame, beans, corn, cotton, chili, and ground nut.
