Than Nu Taw

Than Nu Taw village, a two-hour drive west of Bagan in the Magwe Region of central Myanmar, has 155 households with 137 students. The existing school consisted of a crowded open-air palm leaf roofed building and an old UNESCO building which is very hot inside and needed a ceiling installed for cooling and partitions for quieting.

We built a new 80’ x 30’ school building as well as doing the necessary repairs to the existing UNESCO building.

With the help of our generous donors, 2019 was an outstanding year for MBSPF construction projects in rural Myanmar villages: seven new schools, two teachers’ cottages and our third rural medical clinic. It is such a great joy to offer the children and villagers these beautiful buildings that support their education and well-being.
