Seven nearby villages send patients to the two midwives in Kha Naing. The midwives board with village families and do not have a separate clinic building. The Kalaw health department and the two township doctors want a clinic building here as the need is great. There is suitable land for the new clinic that MBSPF plans to build this year.
Kha Naing Yar Clinic
Kha Naing Yar is located 25 miles southeast of Kalaw and has a population of 450 in 110 households. The Da Nu tribe villagers farm chili, ginger, corn, garlic and some brown rice. There are two midwives living in the village.
